Our History
The Company:
J.Luteyn Transport was founded in 2001. It began with a single truck, transporting agricultural products by day and fresh cut flowers by night thoughout the lower mainland. Throughout the years we have continually grown our fleet as well as our services; a reflection of our reliabilty and excellent customer service. We are thankful for the support of our many faithful customers, who have helped us get to where we are today.
The Owner:
Jim Luteyn was born and raised in the city of Chilliwack. Growing up around trucks at his dad's garbage company,
C. Luteyn & Sons, he has always had a love for trucks and dreamed of one day owning his own. After the family business was sold, Jim moved on to work in warehousing. He obtained his licenses as soon as he was of age, and by 1989 began driving full time for the same company. In February of 2001, he purchased his first truck and J. Luteyn Transport was established.
